I always love collaborating with fellow service providers - not only does it give me a chance to brainstorm new and wonderful ideas, but also gives us the ability to showcase what we can accomplish if we combine our talents.

This particular shoot was one for the books. We wanted to create an alternative bridal look and decided on a Black Botanical theme. Feast your eyes on the brilliant exuberance of the beautiful colour palette against the black contrast of the dress.

I am very proud to say that this shoot was also featured in the fantastically acclaimed Mooi Troues wedding blog. It also had me named as a 2019 finalist in the Top Vendor Wedding Awards in the category Best Styled Look.

When Simoné, my beautiful and talented partner-in-crime decided to have her wedding down at the coast, I knew that there would just be absolutely no way that I could not be there for her on her big day.  We have, after all, spent countless hours with brides, making them pretty for their big "I do's".  We've laughed together, cried together, smiled at beautiful moments together and I just knew I wanted to be the one to be there for her on her big day.

What follows are some of the stunning photo's of Simoné's small and intimate family wedding at the coast.  A true reflection of who she is and some captivating looks at her and Armand's love for each other.  Love you Simmi, I am so blessed to be working with you!!

When Annelie mentioned her venue, it was one that I had never heard of, but I was completely blown away by it.  Vivere is a beautiful and romantic wedding venue and will definitely count as one of my favourites from now on - especially from a make-up artist point of view. The bridal room is spacious and light and has a beautiful view over the dam. And it has aircon, which is an absolute MUST these days!

Annelie is exceptionally talented, and made the beautiful bridesmaid dresses and her very unique garter all by herself!  She looked amazing in her dress and the make-up really made her beautiful blue eyes pop.  Detoi photography took these breathtaking photo's of this special lady.

She walked into my studio, bubbling with excitement. Carike is one of those sunny people who just lifts up your spirits when you talk to them, one of those that you find yourself smiling because of their infectious laughter and "joy de vivre". After her wedding Carike started her own business Crafty Cultures  where she is teaching people how to make cheese, kefir and all sorts of wholesome food in their own kitchens! Carike and Colyn got married at Moon& Sixpence and I absoultely love how June Joubert captured their lovestory.

Daniela met Leonardo while they were both working for a cruise company and together they have travelled the world.  Her husband is originally from Brazil, so Portuguese was definitely the language that was most spoken at this wedding! They got married at beautiful L'aguila and Daniel West took these amazing photographs.  I just love his use of light!

What a beautiful bride! I was fortunate enough to do Marilé's make-up on her wedding day. She is a natural beauty with these amazing dimples in her cheeks when she smiles.  I can totally see why Quintin fell head over heels in love with her. They got married at beautiful Woodlands Game Lodge and Laurentia E photography took these stunning photo's.

Not only is she one of my most favourite people in the whole world, but to me she is also one of the most beautiful!  Kim and Niko got married at the Rand Club in the middle of Johannesburg.  The club brings treasures and memories of an almost bygone era. Apparently it will be closed for refurbishment later this year, but I hope they manage to keep some of the oldschool charm.   Judith Belle took some amazing photo's - real urban chic portraits right in the middle of Jozi! It really was an absolutely amazing experience to be part of this occasion for these two special people!! Love you lots, my Kim!

Utmost attention to detail and absolute sophistication - that is how I will describe this her.  Corné lives and works in Chicago and had limited time in South Africa to plan this beautiful event. Back home in the US from a wonderful honeymoon in the Maldives (I was super jealous!), she sent me these beautiful pics!  They got married at the lovely Isiphiwo and  Stella Sassen took these beauties. A while ago I did Pascal's wedding make-up for her, and this year I was lucky enough to get to do her make-up again - this time as a bridesmaid to her beautiful sister-in-law, Lelani.  Lelani has the most beautiful milk-white skin and gorgeous eyes - she has that certain ethereal quality that to me, personifies real oldschool Hollywood glamour. I was thrilled to see how Amoia Photography captured this unique beauty.
